# Use and adapt skills

Use the documented interfaces and source layout for **skills**. The sections below retain the README’s examples and configuration details.

## Usage

```bash
npx @qentrah/skills
npx @qentrah/skills list
npx @qentrah/skills add architecture-guardian
npx @qentrah/skills add code-review ui-implementation
```

Running the CLI without a skill name opens an interactive multi-select. Use the arrow keys to navigate, `Space` to select multiple skills, and `Enter` to continue.

By default, a skill is installed in `.agents/skills/<skill-name>` in the current project. Use `--cwd <directory>` to choose another project or `--force` to replace an existing installation.

For non-interactive automation:

```bash
npx @qentrah/skills add --all --yes
```

## Troubleshoot a local change

1. Reproduce the smallest example from the [quick-start guide](/docs/qentrah-skills/quick-start-guide).
2. Compare required configuration and dependency versions with the README.
3. Check the linked issue tracker for the same error. Include the command, runtime version, and relevant error when reporting a problem; omit credentials.
