# Qesh documentation

Qesh 0.4.0 is a macOS shell workspace. Each tab or split pane runs an independent shell. Switching tabs and resizing panes keep those processes running.

## Version and limits

Both Apple Silicon and Intel builds are available. The app is locally signed and not notarized. Workspace layouts, names, colors, and working folders restore from local SQLite. Reopened shells have fresh PIDs; previous running programs and terminal output are not resumed. Mouse input supports workspace controls and selection, but is not forwarded to child terminal programs.
