# Install and configure 3nan

Follow the source instructions for **3nan**. Read the prerequisites and configuration steps before running an example.

## Setup

- **Runtime:** Node 18+
- **Package manager:** [Bun](https://bun.sh)

```bash
bun install
bun run start
```

## Check the installation

After setup, continue with the [first example](/docs/up-to-code-3nan/quick-start-guide). If a command fails, compare the runtime version, working directory, and required configuration with the original README before changing dependencies.
