# Run a first anan-ai example

Start with the smallest workflow described by the README for **anan-ai**. Complete [installation and configuration](/docs/up-to-code-anan-ai/installation-guide) first.

## Quick Start

### Install

```bash
pnpm install
```

### Run Locally

```bash
pnpm dev         # Convex backend
pnpm dev:web     # apps/web on http://localhost:3000
pnpm dev:admin   # apps/admin on http://localhost:3001
pnpm dev:all     # Convex + web + admin
```

### Build And Test

```bash
pnpm typecheck
pnpm test:once
pnpm build
```

Deeper verification:

```bash
pnpm test:deep:fast
pnpm test:deep:surfaces
pnpm test:deep:e2e
pnpm test:deep:build
pnpm test:deep
pnpm test:deep:exhaustive
```

## Verify your changes

The root manifest provides this check:

```sh
npm run typecheck
```

Read any errors before continuing. Build and type checks verify source consistency; exercise the README example to verify the behavior you need.

## Next task

[Read the usage guide](/docs/up-to-code-anan-ai/usage-guide) for the documented components, configuration, and source layout.
