# Install and configure sufra

Follow the source instructions for **sufra**. Read the prerequisites and configuration steps before running an example.

## Quick start

Prerequisites: Node.js 20+, pnpm, and [Salla CLI](https://www.npmjs.com/package/@salla.sa/cli).

```bash
pnpm install
pnpm run watch        # build assets (Twilight watcher)
salla theme preview   # live preview against a demo store
```

## Check the installation

After setup, continue with the [first example](/docs/up-to-code-sufra/quick-start-guide). If a command fails, compare the runtime version, working directory, and required configuration with the original README before changing dependencies.
