# Install and configure twenty

Follow the source instructions for **twenty**. Read the prerequisites and configuration steps before running an example.

## Get the source

```sh
git clone https://github.com/Up-to-code/twenty.git
cd twenty
```

## Install dependencies

The manifest declares `yarn@4.13.0`. Use that package manager.

```sh
yarn install
```

Required runtime ranges in the manifest: `node ^24.5.0`, `npm please-use-yarn`, `yarn >=4.0.2`.

## Check the installation

After setup, continue with the [first example](/docs/up-to-code-twenty/quick-start-guide). If a command fails, compare the runtime version, working directory, and required configuration with the original README before changing dependencies.
