Install & activate

Before you start

You need WordPress 6.6 or later, PHP 8.1 or later, and permission to install plugins. Back up your site before an update.

Install the plugin

1. Download Qentrah Languages ZIP. Keep the ZIP compressed.
2. In your WordPress dashboard, open Plugins → Add New Plugin → Upload Plugin.
3. Select qentrah-languages.zip, then click Install Now.
4. Click Activate Plugin. Languages appears in the WordPress menu.
5. Add your first language.

The downloadable user manual is a separate document. Upload the plugin ZIP, not the manual ZIP.

If installation fails

Check the required WordPress/PHP versions and your account permissions. Download a fresh copy from the GitHub release. If the problem continues, report the error without passwords or private site data.
