Getting Started

Prerequisites

• Node.js 18+
• npm, yarn, or pnpm
• MongoDB database

Installation

1. Clone the repository

   Terminal

   1git clone https://github.com/r2hu1/mysocials.git
   2cd mysocials

2. Install dependencies

   Terminal

   1npm install
   2# or
   3yarn install
   4# or
   5pnpm install

3. Environment Setup

   Terminal

   ShellCopy

   1cp .env.example .env.local

   Fill in your environment variables:

   1MONGODB_URI=your_mongodb_connection_string
   2CLERK_SECRET_KEY=your_clerk_secret_key
   3NEXT_PUBLIC_CLERK_PUBLISHABLE_KEY=your_clerk_publishable_key

4. Run the development server

   Terminal

   1npm run dev

   3yarn dev

   5pnpm dev

5. Open your browser Navigate to http://localhost:3000
