Prerequisites
- Node.js 18+
- npm, yarn, or pnpm
- MongoDB database
Installation

Clone the repository
git clone https://github.com/qentrah/MySocials.git cd MySocials -
Install dependencies
npm install # or yarn install # or pnpm install -
Environment Setup
cp .env.example .env.localFill in your environment variables:
MONGODB_URI=your_mongodb_connection_string CLERK_SECRET_KEY=your_clerk_secret_key NEXT_PUBLIC_CLERK_PUBLISHABLE_KEY=your_clerk_publishable_key -
Run the development server
npm run dev # or yarn dev # or pnpm dev -
Open your browser Navigate to http://localhost:3000
Check the installation
After setup, continue with the first example. If a command fails, compare the runtime version, working directory, and required configuration with the original README before changing dependencies.
